Justyna Młodzikowska-Albrecht, MD/PhD

In 2002, Justyna Młodzikowska-Albrecht graduated with distinction from Poznań University of Medical Sciences, where she studied at the Faculty of Medicine. In 2008 she earned a Ph.D. degree at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Poznan University of Medical Sciences, in the field of Child Neurology for her dissertation titled: “Tiki przewlekłe i zespół Tourette’a u dzieci i młodzieży – charakterystyka objawów klinicznych oraz współistniejących zaburzeń snu” [Chronic Tics and Tourette’s Syndrome in Children and Adolescents: Characteristics of Clinical Symptoms and Comorbid Sleep Disorders].  In 2009 Dr Młodzikowska-Albrecht completed a second-degree specialty training in neurology. Between 2009 and 2014 she worked in the Department of the Józef Struś Multi-Specialty Hospital with Health Care and Curative Institution SPHCC in Poznań, and served for the last two years as Deputy Head of Department. Between 2003 and 2009 she served as junior assistant and university lecturer in the Department of Developmental Neurology, Poznan University of Medical Sciences. In 2006 she did a monthly internship at the Neuropaediatric Department of Kiel University. Since 2007 she has worked in neurological outpatient clinics. Furthermore, in 2011 she completed a two-year Medical Law, Bioethics and Sociology of Medicine Postgraduate Course at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw. In 2006 she completed another two-year course in Clinical Epileptology in Warsaw. In 2010 she completed a basic course in Duplex and Doppler Ultrasound of Extracranial Arteries and Transcranial Ultrasound. Dr Młodzikowska-Albrecht participates actively in scientific symposia and conferences focused on neurological diseases of children and adults. She is an author of research papers and scientific articles published in Poland and abroad. Currently her core activities include diagnostics and treatment child and adolescent as well as adult patients in neurological clinics.
