Oral surgery is the part of Dentistry that deals with surgical treatment of the oral cavity and surrounding structures. Within this specialty, many procedures that help other dental specialties are performed., e.g. endodontics (apicoectomy), periodontics (periodontal surgery), prosthodontics (pre-prosthodontic surgery), or implant dentistry.
At St. Wojciech’s Hospital, we can offer:

• Surgical consultation.
• Extraction (pulling out teeth), surgical extraction of wisdom teeth, as well as impacted and non-erupted teeth.
• Uncovering impacted teeth.
• Apicoectomy.
• Frenulum surgery.
• Cyst removal.

Thanks to modern solutions and the possibility of using general anaesthesia or other pain elimination methods, surgical procedures at the Dental Clinic at St. Wojciech’s Hospital are performed in such ways that our Patients feel maximum comfort.

An additional advantage of the Dental Clinic of St. Wojciech’s Hospital is the x-ray room in which we have an accurate CT scanner which makes it possible to get full view of the Patient’s tissue in 3D. CT is particularly useful for complicated procedures that require detailed diagnostics.

In order to ensure that our Patients feel full comfort, all procedures are performed in local anaesthesia, and people who are more sensitive can benefit from inhalation using nitric oxide, or general anaesthesia.

After all procedures, the Patients are provided with ice dressings packs and full information concerning further treatment and check-up appointments.
