Pediatric dentist

A good pediatric dentist is a treasure. Appropriate contact between the child and the dentist shapes the Patient’s further approach to dental appointments, and that is why choosing the right pediatric dentist, i.e. the one who can get through to the young Patient and understand his or her reactions and needs, is extremely important.

We are aware that the Child is a unique patient who requires a lot of patience, attention, and creativity.

At St. Wojciech’s Hospital Dental Clinic we do not treat children using “force”. Instead, we try to encourage the Child to cooperate. We use a motivational system, i.e. we reward the patient for being brave and behaving well. We have rewards in the Offices, and the Child gets one if treatment is successful. That is why the Child comes back for further treatment eagerly.

The Child can be treated successfully at the Dentist’s provided that it understands the aim and the nature of the procedures, and provided that it comes to dental appointments on a regular basis, knows and likes his/her dentist.
