Children’s Package

It is important to have your child’s vision regularly checked and address any problems immediately.

Pay attention to how your child looks at objects at home and at school. Some of the signs that your child needs an eye check-up are the following:

• Your child squints their eyes, rubs them often and tilts their head when looking at an object.
• The child leans their head far forward when reading or drawing, stands too close to the TV or school blackboard and holds their phone or tablet very close to the face.
• Your child has a problem with hand-eye or body-eye coordination during physical activities. The child finds it difficult to catch a ball or ride a bike, or falls frequently.
• The child has problems concentrating. Vision problems may cause the child to be not interested in activities such as reading, colouring or doing puzzles.

Vision assessment in children requires paralysing eye accommodation by using pupil-dilating drops.

The package includes:

• full ophthalmic examination with pupil dilation
• another visit with eye prescription
